WORLD CLASS BOARDING SYSTEM IN CALEB INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, MAGODO
Caleb world class boarding system operates under the pastoral care department of Caleb international college Magodo. Headed by the vice principal pastoral with committed and passionate hostel managers called “Loco Parentis” substitute parents or House parents.

Caleb boarding system is highly committed and passionate about raising and producing breeds of Godly and world class leaders who will consistently maintain high quality positive morals, solid strength of character, unwavering integrity, fear of God and academic excellence all over the globe.

Here in Caleb International College, we run a boarding system that administers full pastoral care services to our pupils and students. It is a holistic boarding system in which the school attempt to meet all the personal, social, health, emotional, spiritual, moral, psychological and intellectual/academic needs of every child.

In order that each student and pupil might participate fully and gain maximum benefit from everything the school has to offer.

Caleb boarding school system is a full Christian school and we are passionate and committed to the spiritual welfare of all our children, we have also taught them to always put God first in everything they do in addition to that, we have trained them to have faith in God always which is our motto.

To further boost and develop them morally and spiritually in order for them to be able to withstand all the negative vices of our time, we have put in place a weekly special bible study session and we also organizes Sunday worship services for them every Sunday.

Other spiritual programs that has greatly transformed the lives of our boarders and has also added much value to our boarding system is our termly vigils and boarders’ retreats. All these program have designed by the school to meet all the spiritual, emotional and moral needs of all our children in the boarding school.

Other extra curricula activities designed to also make life meaningful for our children in our hostels are soccer and swimming competition, quiz competitions and other indoor and outdoor games and activities.

Their academics which is one of our primary focus and priority is not left out, our house masters and mistresses have been professionally trained to manage, monitor and supervise our preps adequately whenever our students observe their prep in the hostels. No student is permitted to go back to school the next day with uncompleted note and assignment.

As a result of this, frequent note checking and tracking is been organized in all our hostels, to ensure no student is left untouched academically. No student is left out of this exercise. Every child’s success is our concern in Caleb International College.

One of our primary mission in all our hostels is to ensure all our students take home excellent results that will always make their parents happy.

Our hostel managers are experienced graduates, seasoned, trained, committed, called and passionate “Loco parentis” employed to give FULL PASTORAL CARE and absolute attention to the overall well-being of all pupils and students in the hostel. This has to do with their growth, development in stages, training them to become responsible young adults and leaders, helping them to manage their challenges and proffering solutions to their personal and inter-personal conflicts and furthermore going the extra mile to assist them in discovering, developing and pursuing their God-given talents, skills, potentials, careers and dreams through frequent and thorough well prepared and effective organized daily routine program, leadership and academic program, effective monitoring and supervision, result oriented counseling section, positive encouragement, positive motivation, regular mentoring, inculcating the word and fear of God, discipline and prayers.

HOSTEL GROUPING ACCORDING TO CLASS GRADE

The hostel system in Caleb International College is termed as “HOME AWAY FROM HOME”.

Our hostel system here in Caleb International College is professionally arranged according to their class level. Our junior boys and girls hostel is separated from the senior boys and girls hostels with quality boarding facilities.

We have grouped our hostels according to their class grade to enable us effectively and efficiently monitor, supervise and manage all our pupils and students. This system has also given the hostel managers the opportunity to meet the individual needs of each pupil and student in each of our hostels.

The J.S.S.1 hostel is separated from the J.S.S.2 and 3 students’ hostels, so it is in the senior school too.

We have two to three house parents attached to each of our hostels to manage the children. They also live with our pupils and students in each of our hostels. This also encourages proper and adequate supervision and management of the pupils and students’ academics, attitudes, morals, social lives, health, emotional and spiritual lives in the hostels.

We at Caleb International College therefore, encourage our dear esteemed and beloved parents whose wards are not yet in the boarding house to bring their wards because here in Caleb International College boarding system, the total and general well-being of your wards is our concern. We are passionate about producing the TOTAL CHILD.
